Integrative Concierge Care

  • An integrative concierge membership combines the personalized, high-access benefits of concierge medicine with a holistic, whole-person approach. This means you get extended appointment times, direct access to your care team, and a focus on treating the root causes of illness—not just the symptoms. Our providers use a combination of conventional medical treatments and evidence-based complementary therapies to create a comprehensive care plan tailored to your unique needs.

  • In traditional primary care, doctors often manage a very large patient panel, which can lead to shorter appointments and limited access. Our concierge model is built on a smaller patient-to-provider ratio, allowing for more in-depth conversations, proactive wellness planning, and same-day or next-day appointments. You also get a dedicated care team that works with you to integrate all aspects of your health, from nutrition and stress management to mental and physical well-being.

  • All of our providers are fully licensed healthcare professionals with advanced training in integrative medicine. They combine conventional medical expertise with evidence-based complementary approaches, ensuring that your care is both safe and holistic. Every provider is committed to addressing the whole person—mind, body, and lifestyle—not just isolated symptoms.

    If you choose Virtual Integrative Care membership, you will be matched with a dedicated physician who specializes in integrative medicine and is supported by a multidisciplinary care team. This ensures you have continuity of care and a provider who understands your full health history and goals.

  • Yes, most members choose us as their primary care provider. We can manage your routine and preventive care, as well as coordinate with specialists. If you prefer to keep an outside primary care provider, we’re happy to collaborate with them to support your overall health.

  • As part of our concierge service, your care team will act as your advocate and coordinator for specialty care. We will help you find the right specialist for your needs, facilitate referrals, and communicate directly with them to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to your health. All specialist visits will be billed to your health insurance as they normally would.

  • Yes, many visits can be conducted virtually through secure telehealth, including follow-ups, medication management, and wellness check-ins. Note that not all care can be provided remotely; your care team will let you know when an in-person visit is recommended.

  • Yes, our physicians can prescribe medications when appropriate, and we also focus on non-pharmacological and lifestyle-based approaches to care. Prescriptions can be sent directly to your preferred pharmacy.

  • Depending on your health needs and provider recommendations, we may incorporate therapies such as nutrition counseling, stress management techniques, mindfulness practices, supplements, acupuncture, or other evidence-based complementary treatments into your care plan.

  • We offer same-day or next-day appointments for urgent needs during regular clinic hours. After-hours care may be available via phone or telehealth, depending on your provider’s availability. For medical emergencies, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

  • If you are admitted to a hospital, your concierge physician will coordinate with the hospital team to ensure continuity of care and stay informed about your treatment. Hospital bills are not included in the membership and will be processed through your insurance.

  • MyChart is your all-in-one portal for managing your health. Through MyChart, you can:

    • Schedule appointments with your care team.
    • View your lab results, test results, and after-visit summaries.
    • Securely message your care team with questions or concerns.
    • Request prescription refills.
    • Access your personalized care plan and health information.

Membership

  • Your membership includes a wide range of services designed to provide you with the highest level of care, including:

    • Extended and unhurried appointments.
    • Same-day or next-day appointments for urgent needs.
    • Direct communication with your care team through MyChart messaging.
    • Coordination of care with specialists and other providers.
    • A personalized, holistic care plan focused on prevention and wellness.
    • Advanced diagnostic testing and in-depth health assessments.

  • Yes, we encourage a family-centered approach to health. We offer memberships for individuals over the age of 18. Each family member must have their own individual membership to receive the full benefits of our program.

  • No, all care must be provided in the State of California.

  • No, the membership fee is not typically covered by health insurance. This fee covers the cost of enhanced access, extended visits, and personalized care coordination. We will, however, bill your insurance for any medical services provided during appointments, such as lab work, procedures, and specialist referrals. Your regular insurance terms will apply, including any co-payments, deductibles, and co-insurance. Please consult with your insurance provider for specific details on your coverage.

  • This depends on your specific plan. The IRS has regulations on how Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) can be used. Some plans may allow you to use these funds for certain concierge services, while others do not. We recommend checking with your HSA or FSA administrator to understand their specific policies regarding concierge medicine membership fees.

  • We understand that circumstances can change. You may cancel your membership at any time by cancelling in your member portal, or providing us with written notice. Your membership will remain active until the end of the current billing period (e.g., month or year, depending on your subscription terms), and you will continue to have access to all membership benefits until that time.

  • Our membership is a subscription-based service. The terms of your subscription are as follows:

    • Your membership will automatically renew on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your subscription, unless you cancel your subscription prior to your renewal date.
    • You will be charged the membership fee on your renewal date using the payment method on file. You can change your payment method in your member portal.
    • If, for whatever reason, we cannot process a payment with your payment method on file, we will cancel the membership if a subscription is 2 weeks past due.
    • Membership fees are subject to change. You will be notified in writing at least 30 days in advance of any changes to your renewal fee.
